Anna Ruth
Malizia-Salyers
May 4, 1958 — Oct 3, 2026
Friday
The Lighthouse Church of God
Starts at 11:00 am (Eastern time)
Anna was born May 4, 1958 to Joseph & Gloria Malizia in Newark, New Jersey. When Anna was 11 her father moved his family to Beaufort, South Carolina to assist his father and mother, Joseph & Angelina Malizia in the family restaurant "Joe's Spaghetti House." They were known by all as "Papa Joe & Mama Joe."
Anna was the 3rd of 5 children. Her family was her pride and joy, always telling me what a wonderful Mother and Father the Good Lord had given her, and how she was so blessed to have the family and the upbringing she had along with her 3 brothers and her sister; raised in the nurture & admonition of The Lord.
Anna married Robert Jeff Salyers on September 13th 1979, and together raised their children Raan & Rian, and had a large part in the upbringing of their grandson Gage. They were the joy and devotion of her life. In 1998 Anna retired from the United States Postal Service to dedicate herself to full-time ministry with her husband, Pastor of the "Lighthouse Church of God," where she tirelessly served the Lord teaching the "Children's Church," directing the worship music, and playing the piano, and continued her ministry teaching children the Word of God for 24 years. She was known and greatly loved by many children as "Sister Anna," & "Miss Anna."
Anna was so full of life, love, and compassion for everyone. Always willing to help someone in need. She was a bright light in this world and truly she has a heart of gold. We love and miss you with untold sadness but we are unspeakably joyous for you that you are now resting in the arms of Jesus and are reunited with your Mom & Dad, and Grandparents.
But mostly we are unspeakably joyous for you that you will "dwell in The house of The Lord forever" (Psalm.23) & we will meet you there.
A Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 9th, at The Lighthouse Church of God, located at 474 Laurel Bay Road in Beaufort South Carolina, 29906.
